Big Thunder Marine Earns Five-Star Dealer Rating
A full-service, multi-location Baja Marine, Cigarette Racing Team, Donzi Marine and Fountain Powerboats dealer at the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri, Big Thunder Marine has earned Five-Star Marine Industry Dealership certification from the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas. According to a press release issued today by the Minneapolis-based trade group, the dealership achieved its certification by "devoting itself to maintaining the strict requirements for the program by displaying outstanding dedication to delivering a superior boating experience for its customers."
"Big Thunder is proud to be the only dealership at Lake of the Ozarks that is a Five-Star Certified dealer by the MRAA", said Jeremy Anderson, the general manager of Big Thunder Marine, in the release. "Our commitment to our clients, and believing in a better boating experience, has been paramount to our success and growth here at the lake."
In 2015, the Ross family acquired and re-opened the existing Big Thunder Marine facility and began expanding to become the largest powerboat dealership at the Lake of the Ozarks, according to the release. (In addition to its performance-boat lines, the dealership carries MasterCraft tow boats, Monterey runabouts and deck boats, Crest and Manitou pontoon boats, Chris-Craft runabouts and more.) To meet the needs of its customers, Big Thunder Marine has acquired Glencove Marina, Wake Effects and Lakeport Marina, launched its Speed and Luxury Showroom and remodeled its Family Boat Center.
The dealership also has satellite dealerships in South Florida and the Florida Keys.
"Big Thunder Marine has earned this honor with its determined commitment to improve and also its faithfulness to delivering a superior boating experience to its customers," said Liz Keener, the certification manager for the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas, in the release. "Big Thunder has revealed itself to be an authentic industry leader within the marine industry and is deserving of its certification status."
