Big Thunder Marine To Command Palm Beach Show Stage With Cigarette And Fountain
Written by Matt Trulio
Though yachts and cruisers tend to dominate the annual Palm Beach International Boat Show, they won't be the only game in the posh South Florida town when the event opens tomorrow. Thanks to Big Thunder Marine, Cigarette Racing Team and Fountain Powerboats, this year's Palm Beach happening is particularly worth checking out for go-fast powerboat enthusiasts with buying in mind.
Big Thunder Marine, which is headquartered in Osage Beach, Mo., and is expanding its presence in Florida, will have its own Fountain exhibit in Palm Beach. As it did during the Miami International Boat Show in February, the multi-brand dealership will showcase a hot new Fountain 32 NX center console powered by a trio of Mercury Racing 300R outboard engines, a 34-foot Sport Console, a 38-foot center console and a 38-foot Tournament Edition center console.
"All four boats are available for sale with delivery as soon as next weekend," said Jeremy Anderson, the Big Thunder Marine's general manager.
As the recently named Cigarette Racing Team dealer for the Midwest and Palm Beach, Big Thunder Marine will have members of its team in the Cigarette exhibit. In addition to a 42 Auroris, a 41 Nighthawk, a 59 Tirranna and a 515 sportboat, the Opa-locka, Fla., custom center console and V-bottom builder will unveil a new model during the show.
"We are excited to be in the Cigarette booth as the local Palm Beach dealer," Anderson said. "The people from Cigarette were at the Lake of the Ozarks Tuesday and we will be with them all weekend in Palm Beach.
"We've had great success at our shows so far this season and look forward to Palm Beach," he added. "While some of our models are order-only, we do have some available for delivery after the show."
